All NFL Team Thankful List 11/2019

Response to Bleacher Report Blog: ”1 Thing Each NFL Team Should Be Thankful For”

Awesome read & creative article! However, I’d change up a few points:

1. #Saints should be thankful for Bridgewater because he could be a starter for the Bengals 100% & he led the saints while Brees was out with a thumb injury.
2. #Eagles should be thankful for Jim Schwartz because he is playing a more than usual man coverage approach with one of the worst secondaries in the league. He gets a lot of crap in Philly for his conservative defense on 3rd down, but Philly keeps the standards high (which is why they won a nail-biter against the Patriots in SB52).
3. #Bills should be thankful for Sean McDermott because those "close games" were won on defense and special teams & he learned from one of the best defensive coordinators that the game has ever seen (Jim Johnson).
4. #Packers should be thankful for Za'darius Smith because this man is playing at an ALL-PRO level this season, treating lineman-like children. He is a key part of this Packer's defense & if Kahlil Mack is getting all this attention then Za'darius Smith should get just as much (as if his name being called multiple times on almost every drive isn't enough).
5. #Colts should be thankful for Frank Reich because he managed to utilize a division-contending roster without utilizing most/all of his cap space while keeping his team together through turbulent times (Andrew Luck's early exit).
6. #Bucs should be thankful for Bruce Arians because he made a good hire for a long-term defensive coordinator (Todd Bowles) & he is setting all types of season highs this year with Winston, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin. Plus the man sets the tone for swagger on a team (what other head coaches could compare at that age?!).
